I have always loved all things interiors but my love of handcrafted and sustainable pieces has been a lifelong passion stemming back to my childhood. Days lost at jumble sales and travelling to flea markets and charity shops was a regular thing. Knowing where your products come from or breathing life back into an old piece of furniture is a gift.
Milk Home was born following many conversations with friends and the name itself came from a car park coffee catch up with one of my best friends. 'Making Interior Living Kind' I said...'Milk Home' she replied, and there it was, the plan was hatched.
I hadn't even told my husband at that point, but knew he would be supportive, especially when I gave him the title of 'Logistics and Packaging Director'!! We make a great team and love what we do. We take inspiration from cafes, and the textures of the outdoors; whilst we are lovers of Japandi and Nordic styles we can't resist a pop of colour. For me personally I need neutrals for balance and colour to feed the soul which I think reflects in the collections we curate. All the brands we work with have been hand selected because we genuinely love them and the journey to finding the right brand to suit our ethos has been part of the fun.
We hope you enjoy browsing through our considered collection knowing that they have been selected with kindness and happiness in mind.
